Notifications:
Most of
your notification settings can be found by going to the App list and
tapping Settings > Notifications
+ actions. From there,
you can control which notifications appear in action centre, and whether each
individual notification includes a banner alert, sound, vibration or
nothing at all. For more info on how to turn on and set up notifications, see changing Notification actions
Note:
Other notifications, like detailed and quick statuses on your lock screen,
can be changed in Settings > Lock
screen. For more info, see Personalisation your Lock Screen
Banner alerts:
For notifications you want to know about straight away, turn on
banner alert notifications in Settings > Notifications
+ actions. Banner alerts appear outside action centre at the top of your
screen. If you tap a banner alert, it will take you straight to the app that
sent the notification.
Quick actions:
You
don’t have to look far to access the settings you use the most. Add important
settings like Bluetooth and WiFi to your quick actions to turn them on or off
in an instant. Quick actions are accessible at almost any time (even above your
lock screen) by swiping part of the way down from the top of your phone’s
screen. For more info on how to turn on and set up quick actions, see using quick actions
Tip:
You can
change and reorder the quick actions that appear in action centre so that you
can quickly access the settings you want most. To change and reorder your quick
actions, tap Settings > Notifications
+ actions.
